DevZone successfully supported its partner to start global expansion and achieve significant, stable growth in just a few years. Almost the entire IT department of the company was provided by DevZone, which was crucial. The Beginnings: The First Years and the Foundations of Success
Our partner’s story is a real success story that began in 2014, when the company was just taking its first steps. At that time, local companies did not see much potential in our partner’s activities. In this year, one lead developer and two developers worked on the project, while a system administrator in New Jersey supported the processes.
After the first year, in 2015, the team began to expand: under the direction of the IT Manager, the Product Owner, the lead developer, and five developers worked. In addition to the overseas system administrator, a system administrator in Budapest also started working. This established the infrastructure network of the European center. Our partner entered the Chinese market as well.
Product Development and Global Expansion
By 2016, as a result of the collaboration with our partner, the first joint product was launched on the market. Nine developers worked on developing the central product, while the team responsible for the new product was also formed: alongside the Product Owner, one lead developer and three developers. These results further strengthened our partner’s international presence.
Global expansion reached its peak in 2017, when our partner made huge strides in software development and product development. In this year, a total of two Product Owners, two lead developers, and 19 developers worked on our partner’s products. Along with the growth of technical teams, the number of support positions also began to increase in 2017. Our partner’s annual revenue reached 20 million USD this year.

2018 was the year of maintenance and product development for our partner. In this year, a total of three lead developers and 23 developers worked on our partner’s products. The number of support positions in the team continued to grow. Meanwhile, our partner successfully maintained high-level customer service and support.
In 2019, the goal was consolidation. Our partner expanded with a five-member support team for the webshop.
